Hey!I have my YOU session soon and I've read MANY conflicting things about the test, i'm unsure if it is really hard or ludicrously easy.
I have done some of the online practice tests but i'm kinda feelin' that they are trying to sell me on their two hundred-something dollar preparation package by intimidating me with exceptionally difficult sample questions.ANYWAY the question I have is: are you permitted to use pencil and paper for working out the more difficult math questions? I feel like you would be considering all tests iv'e experienced through school allows it but I have read nothing indicating you can and (almost) nothing indicating you cannot. I feel that it would generate more confidence in me knowing that I don't have to worry about attempting to solve multiple step equations manually in my head with the scarce time the test provides.Appreciated. Just for a point of reference, I've heard the results of the aptitude from five people including my own. All of us have maxed out all available roles (except pilot and air stuff because it's a separate test), and I left with 30 spare minutes. Don't stress at all, it's designed for most people to firstly not even finish, and secondly scare you shit out of you. You will get a load wrong, so did I, you don't need to get many right at all.
Have fun and good luck:)P.S. Going for my OSB in less than a month, pretty scared. You completed the test with 30 minutes to spare?
During tests I probably take too long over answers that are not worth the time and find myself hardly finishing on time. I got the ADF aptitude test app on my phone and it requires 80% to pass in the mock tests which seems harsh.
Though I feel now that probably is not accurate to that actual aptitude test and its not like they would disclose the passing grade like that anyway.Thank you for the help and I absolutely wish you luck in your upcoming assessments. I did my Aptitude test early this yearWe were all given a pencil and paper to figure out the maths questions. I purposely used a ADF aptitude test app by pineapple studies. They had the best example questions. (They were almost adzact to the actual test) Practiced like crazy and opened up the jobs that I wanted.Best advice recivise over yr 10 maths questions. Algebra, pythagoras, area, extra.
Pritty simple. It was easy for me. You'll be fineOh the 80% pass is crap. I think the only way you can't open any jobs is if you get every question wrong or you don't do the test at all.
Hope's this helps.
